Nice Teets

These little gems are superior pests in the community. They cost a lot to keep; expensive on vehicle maintenance; and are nasty viral carriers. Our suburb is over flowing with deer that pose quite a controversy over how to cull the herd verses home owners adding to the problem by feeding these cute destroyers of our garden oasis'.
I was able to snap this shot as one doe stopped me on the drive home (about 100 yards from our driveway) so her fawns could cross in the road to feed.

We're still here ...
and have been checking the blog every other day but have not had time to post any new pics of current events in our world as time is currently spent with the up and coming exams next week. I expect you have exams or similar tests in your part of the globe? The girls will be writing next week one exam per day (two hours + each) as well as their English proficiency tests (part one) Tuesday afternoon ... they must past this test or the will not graduate from High School. Estrogen levels are high ... I expect Nuc has or will have OT next week. I will be working OT to ensure report accuracy and timelines are met ... it is good to have teenagers - they can bet the #$#$%# out of each other and I will not be here. :>
Miss you all,
Woody

Hit with Snow Again!
Awoke this am to more snow ... radio indicates 19 cm's, you be the jug.
Yes, the deck was previously shoveled.
On Christmas eve one of our family traditions is having rappy pie (probably not spelled correctly as it is a french Acadian dish) at Fennships. The boys and girls are excited to open one present received from a special friend or family member. Food, drinks, story telling and jesting make for a grand time.
An exciting night at Fennships has Toga spent.
The girls and I (Woody) went to Mom's for Boxing Day and enjoyed herding through the swarm of relations that gather each year. As I have an extremely large family, visiting is impossible but our girls get a quick view of their aunts, uncles and cousins.
We rang out the old & in the new year with family and friends.
The evening began at Granan's Restaurant for a wonderful seafood dinner than moved to the 69 branch legion on the west side of town for dancing, where we ran into one of Longwood's sister-in-laws.
Terri's dad's (centre singing) band played, great singing & music of old made a wonderful finish to a fabulous evening.
Here's wishing you all a Happy and Safe 2008!
Woody
