The girls had their first airplane trip this summer as we headed for Alberta to meet long-time friends; take in the Rockies and some white water rafting. Top is the bow river where we white-water rafted. Below is Athabascan FAlls ... it's powerfull force is amazing. It begins with a trickle at the Atabasca Glacier we walked on. It was minus 24 mid July at the top of the Glacier. The Rockies are sooo breathtaking. We had such a great time with wonderful friends we enjoyed thoughout our trip. Hopefully it won't be another 10-12 years before we touch.
Summer finds our neighbourhood very active. Only a few days back from vacation, straight to work jet-legged than off with neighbours camping for a weekend. Even the dogs enjoying freedom. The kids get rides in canoes ... one wooden one is made by Fennship & Pellerin themselves. The women get to relax on shore and all enjoy the camp pool. What are the Nuc & Fennship doing? ... Is the canoe's construction really that mesmerizing?
