Snow day allots for more decorating!

Nuc off to work so Woody beings to trim the tree.

A few hours later, VIOLA! Our Victorian Christmas!

Mind you, it almost came down as I finished the last touch-ups ... thank you Toga for being promptly to Moms rescue.

One day Nuc will heed my advice ... and get us an artificial tree :>. I'm too old for falling trees.

The week promises to be a busy one as P.K. & Toga have 3 dances and Nuc and I have a couple parties to attend. Last Thursday Nuc, Toga and I went to the annual Tim Horton vs Saint John boys in Blue hockey game/fundraiser. After moving our sits where the least of the stranger were, we enjoyed a good laugh at the juvenile delinquents off their Ritalin for the evening. Nuc was so into the game (or dazed by the lack of wobbles ... remember fundraiser for misfortunates no alcohol) he totally missed two chicks fighting during the T-shirt shot as well as I (Woody) getting takin' out in the timbit toss.

Christmas count down

Christmas is fast approaching & we are busy decking the halls.

Stockings are hung & Josie is settling down enjoying the warmth of the fire.

P.K. & Toga had an all night famine on Friday than babysat until midnight and are exhausted this morning.
But alas the wiery must head to town and finish they're Christmas shopping ... am sure P.K. will find a few select items for herself :>.
If you look close you will see Nuc took Josie this past week to get her Christmas pretty on! (The bushy tail & fuzzy toes are gone). The girls were quite jealous as it even included a manicure and pedicure! SOOOO unfair! They must wait for the new year to get their pretty on :<.
Nuc brought in the tree to thaw this morning ... should take until Jan 1st, man is it cold out there! -40 I'd say! (really it's only -10)

1st Snow Fall

I guess the Christmas lights will have to wait another weekend :<.
This is definitely one of Jose's favorite days. Look at those smiles.

The girls take turns learning to use the snow blower ... I see smiles!

The first snow falls never fails to bring out the best in us!

Toga sooo enjoying shovelling.

Check out PK as high as Dad's truck roof.

Our first snow fall requires Nuc to get out the big gun.

Last day with the Toomeys, sniff sniff.

The day began at Moose Greens summer home with a little dog play. Then we checked out the local wildlife. Than off for some dirt biking ... you can see this is the Nuc's first try and he is a little nerve but soon recovers and the 'boys' head for an hour of trail riding, Nozzle stye! They return and the Kiwi tests the Saint John River out (IN OCT!! ... even us Maritimers aren't that stupid! :>) of course, if Dad can do it so can Cole. Now Mary we should have warned you that it is not good to be on the down side of Nuc as the wasted-one can not be held accountable if things were to go wrong ... slip, slide or combust! & those stairs are steep.
We end the day around a wonderful fire before we have to say goodbyes and head for home. We love and miss you all, xo xo . Woody

& more pic's at Adele's reception

We captured some great moments before the dancing commenced. The camera was forgotten as we focused on those great moves of Nuc's!!!! . . . Now that is worthy of a video posting. Until viewed no one can imagine the law of gravity being defied.
Love those moves!

Some pic's taken at Adele's reception

I believe we're feeling the love! ... or the warmth of the 'fireball'? ... Definitely the Love.
